What does being a Great Futures Gala Honoree mean to you?
It is an opportunity to use my influence and voice to bring attention to all of the wonderful ways the Boys & Girls Club of Baton Rouge has a profound impact on the youth in our city that might not otherwise have opportunity to enjoy safe and productive after school programming.

Where did you grow up?
Lafayette, LA

Why do you feel it's important to give back?
As a Christian, I believe all of us are image bearers of God. That being said, we all valuable and prized in the sight of God; I feel it is important to give back to help those around me know that they are valuable and worth love and attention and dignity! It is so easy in our day and age to deny individuals dignity, and I want to work against that mindset in my community!

What did you want to be growing up?
A pharmacologist
